Australian Services Union and the CFMEU for White Ribbon Day!

On the 28th of November 2016, the Australian Services Union (ASU) spoke to members of the Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union (CFMEU) at various sites around Sydney including Parramatta, Barangaroo, Darling Harbor, Central Park and the Northern Beaches as part of the 16 days of activism beginning on the 22nd November for White Ribbon Day. The talk had a dual purpose in educating CFMEU members and in raising awareness of the impact of Domestic and Family violence and to highlight the availability of services assisting women and young people, including Lillian's. The ASU in conjunction with the CFMEU actively fundraised to support Lillian's and the service that we provide to young women escaping Domestic and Family violence. We can't thank the ASU and the CFMEU enough for their continued support in the work that we do and for bringing the issue to light as part of the White Ribbon Day campaign.
